Hamlet’s Origin

According to Dr. Lisa Collinson from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, Hamlet was Irish not Danish. Researching the name used in Shakespear’s original tale, she feels the name is of Irish origin, and the traveling Vikings carried the tale back to Scandinavia.
