To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pres. John Kennedy’s visit to Ireland, two stamps are being issued.  One will have a picture of him being served tea by his cousin’s daughter and the other of the president with the Taoiseach Sean Lemass laying a wreath at Arbour Hill Cemetery, the burial place of many Irish patriots. A flame lit from the Eternal Flame at Arlington National Cemetery was carried to New Ross, Co Wexford, the home of the Kennedy ancestors to commemorate the 50th anniversary of JFK’s visit to Ireland.
