Youghah, Walled City of Ireland

Youghah, one of Ireland’s walled cities, has a significant amount of walls still standing from the 13th Century unlike the walls of most cities.  They were built by the Normans who ruled there until it was attacked by the Desmonds who ruled for 300 years.
