The Ancient Order of  Hibernians has condemned the minority of students at the University of Mass. and their “Blarney Blowout” celebrations on St Patrick’s Day.  They also criticized newspapers and reporters that equate the observance of the holiday with drunkenness. Neill Cosgrove of the AOH pointed out that other ethnic groups are not subjected to this kind of ridicule.
