February 1- St. Brigid’s Day or Imbolic is the first day of Spring .  The pagan festival of Imbolic is associated with the Celtic goddess Brigid , and was Christianized as the feast of St. Brigid, with whom she shares many traits such as healing, prophecy, smithcraft and poetry.
