The recent storms in Ireland have unearthed evidence of life dating back to the Neolithic period on Connemara’s Orney Island. Archaeological deposits have been exposed on the western and northern shoreline of the island. Also in Co. Kerry, a hundred year old ship the ‘Sunbeam’ has been washed ashore in Rossbeigh.
