Champ or Poundies is a dish of mashed potatoes mixed with scallions and milk, formed into a peak with a well of melted butter in the center. The correct way of eating champ is to take a spoonful of potato from the outer edge and dip each bite into the butter.

Researchers at Trinity College find that Ireland is one of the happiest countries in the world. They found that this depends on feeling like they have been fairly treated by the government. These results have been published in a book “Happy Nation.”
