The town of Bandon, Co Cork has entered the Guinness World Book of Records by having the largest number of people dressed as leprechauns.  The number was 1,263, beating out Glenties, Co Donegal which had 163 less than Bandon or 1,100. The ages ranged from 3 weeks to people in their 80’s.
