After more than 38 years the victims of  “Bloody Sunday” have been declared innocent. It took 12 years for Lord Saville to compile his report. The inquiry concluded that, “Despite the contrary reports of the soldiers, we have concluded that none of them fired in response to attacks or threatened attacks by nail or petrol bombers.” May the 14 murdered men rest in peace, and may their families finally find closure.
