Conway Mill Trust

Jan 6th, 1839 was the night of the “Big Wind” when a hurricane slammed into Ireland, destroying every second home, leaving thousands homeless (mostly the poor) and hundreds dead.  This past Dec 26 saw another ‘Big Wind’ hit with winds gusting to 120 miles/hour and lasting 18 hours.
