Bad Luck Actions

It is bad luck to cut a baby’s fingernails before it is a year old.  If you do so, he may grow up to be a thief. It is bad luck to shave on a Sunday morning as it encourages a toothache but this can be counteracted by carrying a haddock in your pocket for the day.
