Conway Mill Trust

The yacht ‘Asgard’  is now on permanent exhibition in the National Museum in Dublin.  The yacht was used for gun-running in 1914 by Erskine Childers as a response to Unionist gun running.  He sided with the IRA in the Civil War and was executed by the Provisional Government in 1922 for carrying an illegal gun.
