110-Year Old Time Capsule Found

A 110-year old time capsule was found during renovation at Healy Mac’s Breoffy House Resort in Sligo.  It was left there by Dominick Sydney Browne in 1905.  Inside the lead box were letters detailing family history and numerous newspapers of the time.

A replica of the “Titanic” is being built in China by Australian billionaire Olive Palmer and in spite of objections that it is disrespectful of those who died, there is a demand for tickets.  It will set sail in 2018 but will not follow the original route.

Because of severe storms and gale force winds some of the trees in the Dark Hedges Tunnel were uprooted.  This section in Lisburn, Co Antrim has become a tourist attraction since the Game of Thrones was featured here.
