Turlogh Carolan – Last and Greatest Irish Bard

Turlogh  Carolan 1670-1738, was called the ‘last and the  greatest” of all the bards by Oliver Goldsmith.  The blind harpist was also a poet, composer. musician and also sang his own verses to the harp.
