Cape Clear, off the southwest coast of Ireland is one of the fifteen Gaeltacht islands where Irish remains the main language. The Cape Clear International Storytelling Festival takes place the first Friday in September.

    As a Welsh-speaker, I wish Irish well, but I do hope for someone in Ireland to take a seorius look at Esperanto. It’s so much fairer than Globish.Esperanto works! I’ve used it in speech and writing in about fifteen countries over recent years.
