The descendents of the famous Australian outlaw, Ned Kelly, have been given permission to give their famous ancestor a  private burial.  His remains were initially buried in The Old Melbourne Gaol and transferred to Pentridge prison in 1929.  Many now see him as a hero rather than a villain who fought for justice for Australia’s impoverished Irish.  Kelly was hanged in 1880 and his last words were: “Such is life.”
