Residents north and south of the River Liffey in Dublin are battling over where the statue of Molly Malone should be placed.  For the last 25 yrs. she has been in Grafton Street south of the river where expensive shops and residences are located, and residents think she should remain on the south side but has to be moved for the extension of the tram system. Originally, she was on the north side and the residents there think that is where she belongs because that is the location of the vendors selling fruits, flowers, etc.
