Lleana Ros-Lehtenin, chairwoman of the House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committee, has asked PM Enda Kenny to stop plans to erect a statue of Che Guevara in Galway City honoring his Irish roots. His grandmother was Anna Lynch, born in Galway. Galway City Councellor Billy Cameron accused opponents of interfering in Irish affairs.
