Irish teen, Joanne O’Riordan from Co Cork, has been shortlisted for the honor of World’s Top 20 Young People by Junior Chamber International.  She is being credited with persuading the government to rethink its disability policy.  Joanne has a congenital disorder that caused her to be born without any limbs.  She is only one of seven people in the world to have this condition. She is working with Trinity College of Dublin to build a robot which will enable people with disabilities to function and live independently.
