Three Irish sons left home and all prospered. Getting back together, they
thought of gifts for their elderly mother. The first built her a large house;
the second sent her a BMW with a drive; and the third thought he had beat
them all.  He told them, “You know how Mom loves to read the Bible and
she can’t see well. So, I sent her a parrot that can recite the entire Bible. It
cost me $100,000 and it took 10 years for the monks to train he parrot.
Mom sent out a letter of thanks to her sons. “Seamus, the house is too big
for me. I only use one room, but I have to clean the whole house.” And
to Sean, “I’m too old to travel, so I never use the BMW and the driver is
rude.” To the third son, “You were the only one to have good sense and
send something I could use.  The chicken was delicious!”
